The Baltimore Archers defeated the Milwaukee Milkshakes, 8-7, in Ottoneu Lockdown League action at The Castle. Ryan Zimmerman pulled his weight. The 15-year veteran went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Baltimore reliever Oliver Perez picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Jordan Lyles was tagged with the loss. Emmanuel Clase was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 16 of 22 save opportunities.

With Baltimore trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the first, Zimmerman hit a changeup from Julio Urias for a 2-run double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Archers ahead, 3-2.

"I think we all put in a good day's work," said Zimmerman.
