The Austin Murder Hornets beat the Indianapolis Gearheads, 4-0. Austin pitcher and Managua, Nicaragua, native Jonathan Loaisiga led the way. Loaisiga, now 1-0, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing no runs. The defeat makes Indianapolis 10-5.

The Murder Hornets grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fourth. With no one out, Jesus Aguilar hit a solo home run off Carlos Carrasco, putting Austin in front, 2-0. For Aguilar, it was his 4th home run of the season.

"We put together a nice win," Aguilar said.
