The Brooklyn Sycamores grabbed a win, 3-2, over the New Orleans Simules at The Grove. Brooklyn first baseman Matt Olson hit 2 home runs. With the win, Brooklyn pushed its record to 82-47.

Olson had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-1 fastball from Gerrit Cole, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Sycamores a 3-2 lead. It was the 50th home run of the year for Olson.

"Nice, tidy little win," Olson said after the game.
