Gearheads Get One-Run Win at Austin
The Indianapolis Gearheads topped the Austin Murder Hornets, 5-4, in Ottoneu Lockdown League action at The Hornet Nest. The game was highlighted by the performance of Indianapolis pitcher Trevor Bauer. The winning pitcher was Bauer, now 1-0. He tossed 5 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 7. Nick Anderson recorded the save for Indianapolis, his 3rd of the season.

Michael Brantley aided the Indianapolis cause with a 2-run double in the top of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder was 1 for 2 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

Indianapolis goes to 9-4 with the win.
