Archers Earn 7-6 Win Versus Gearheads
|
The Junkyard was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Baltimore Archers and Indianapolis Gearheads.
The Baltimore Archers did just enough to secure a victory over the Indianapolis Gearheads, 7-6, at The Junkyard. Nobody did more than left fielder Michael Lorenzen. Baltimore reliever Carl Edwards Jr. picked up the win, upping his record to 4-3. Robert Stock was saddled with the loss. Hector Neris, credited with the save, is now 9 for 12 in save opportunities.
The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Lorenzen delivered big-time for Baltimore, stroking a dramatic solo home run off Robert Stock. The game-changing hit put the Archers on top, 7-6.
"The vibe's good," said Baltimore manager damgagnon . "We've got to keep it going."
The Archers, now 77-52, have won 4 in a row.
