Sycamores Beat Baltimore, 5-4
|
Brooklyn starter Walker Buehler pitched well against the Baltimore Archers at The Grove. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-4. The winner was Brooklyn reliever Nick Vincent, now 4-1. The loser was Tony Santillan. The win elevated the Sycamores to 76-46.
Randy Arozarena was the walk-off hero for Brooklyn. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Sycamores left fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Buehler said.
