The New York Yaks turned back the Austin Murder Hornets, 6-5, at Yaks Ballpark. Alex Kirilloff, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs. With the win, New York raised its record to 66-55.

Manuel Margot was the walk-off hero for New York. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Yaks center fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
