Milkshakes Take Down Spiders, 5-4
|
The Cleveland Spiders got a sterling performance from pitcher Sixto Sanchez, but the Milwaukee Milkshakes still prevailed, 5-4. Sanchez threw 5 innings of 3-hit ball. Liam Hendriks, credited with the win, is now 6-1. He allowed no runs on no hits. The win elevated the Milkshakes to 65-56.
The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Milwaukee trailing 4-3, Jazz Chisholm jumped on a 2-2 curveball from Wander Suero for a 2-run home run, sending the Milkshakes to a walk-off win.
"I believe in our guys," said Milwaukee skipper mmaude . "I like the energy they're playing with."
