Gearheads Topple Spiders with Late Rally

The Indianapolis Gearheads had to overcome a big game from Cleveland catcher Keibert Ruiz to leave The Web with a victory. And they did, winning 6-4. Ruiz went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Indianapolis reliever Scott Oberg, now 1-1. The loser was Brian Keller. Bryan Abreu, credited with the save, is now 1 for 3 in save opportunities.
It could have been a different outcome for Indianapolis, had it not been for Amed Rosario, the 25-year old shortstop . Rosario contributed a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put Indianapolis up, 6-4.
"Winning is hard sometimes," said Gearheads manager koalastorm . "This one was nice to get."
The win has Indianapolis at 45-73.
