Asa Lacy pitched well, but his team, the El Paso Metro Stars, still dropped a 2-1 decision to the Ft. Worth Sun Kings at Ft. Worth Ballpark of the Kings. The win was credited to Eric Lauer in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Asa Lacy took the loss. Ken Giles got the save, his 3rd in 3 chances.
Aaron Judge drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances for Ft. Worth. The fan favorite had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Asa Lacy. It was his 49th RBI of the season.
