Squirrel Cats Walk Off with 6-4 Win
|
Rochester center fielder Dylan Carlson made his presence felt in the 6-4 Squirrel Cats triumph over the Nashville Nightcaps. Carlson was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Tommy Hunter in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Freddy Peralta took the loss. With the victory, the Squirrel Cats upped their record to 60-58.
Rochester won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Freddy Peralta on the mound for Nashville, shortstop Marcus Semien hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Squirrel Cats fans to their feet.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Semien. "And not try to do too much."
