5 Straight Wins for Nightcaps
|
The Nashville Nightcaps racked up a win at The Blender, bumping off the Milwaukee Milkshakes, 4-2. Patrick Sandoval, who started for Nashville, pitched effectively for his team. In 7.2 innings, Sandoval surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 0. He allowed 2 runs. Freddy Peralta earned his 26th save in 30 chances.
Jorge Polanco had a productive at-bat for the Nightcaps with one out in the top of the sixth. With a runner on 2nd, the second baseman hit a run-scoring double. The at-bat was important in the Nashville win.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Nashville manager jacochri .
The 8th-place Milkshakes have dropped 5 straight games.
