Polanco Slugs Simules to 10-3 Win
Gregory Polanco was a major factor in the 10-3 New Orleans win over Ft. Worth. The Simules right fielder belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. New Orleans, at 65-39, is 2 games up in the Ottoneu Lockdown League Soto Division.

Polanco contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for New Orleans in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 1-0, Polanco took a fastball from Forrest Whitley and stroked the home run to right-center. His 13th home run of the season allowed the Simules to leap in front, 2-1.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Polanco.
