Nightcaps Lose to Sycamores in Walk Off
Tyler Mahle never let the Nightcaps get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Sycamores to a win, 2-0. Brooklyn reliever Jordan Hicks picked up the win, upping his record to 2-3. Nick Anderson absorbed the loss. The victory gives Brooklyn a record of 61-43.

Randy Arozarena was the walk-off hero for Brooklyn. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Sycamores center fielder hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.

"We put together a nice win," Arozarena said.
