The Seattle Fury relied on the hitting of left fielder A.J. Pollock to stop the Denver Moose, 10-4. For the game, Pollock was 2 for 6 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Seattle reliever Touki Toussaint picked up the win, upping his record to 4-6. Pierce Johnson shouldered the loss. The win puts Seattle at 38-59.
Pollock had a game-changing home run in the top of the 16th. On a 1-2 fastball from Pierce Johnson, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Fury a 6-4 lead. It was the 20th home run of the year for Pollock.
Pollock told a Seattle News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
