The Seattle Fury bested the Baltimore Archers by a score of 7-6, with first baseman Freddie Freeman getting the main credit. On the day, Freeman went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Fury. Enderson Franco earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 2-1. Shane McClanahan earned his 1st save in 1 tries.
The Fury got a big at-bat from designated hitter Brendan McKay, who in the bottom of the third hit a 2-run double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Fury on top, 5-2.
"It was a nice win for our side today," said Fury manager NHFoged . "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
