Musketeers Down Sun Kings, 7-2

The Houston Musketeers topped the Ft. Worth Sun Kings by the score of 7-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Dustin Fowler. Fowler went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Musketeers on the day. Zach Plesac, the winning pitcher, improved to 3-2. He pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 1. The triumph puts Houston at 63-33 for the season.
With Houston leading 3-0 in the top of the fourth, Fowler hit a fastball from Lewis Thorpe for a 3-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Musketeers ahead, 6-0.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Fowler said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
