Sycamores Earn 4-3 Win Versus Murder Hornets
The Sycamores grabbed a win, 4-3, at The Grove, overcoming a fine effort from Austin pitcher Tyler Anderson. Anderson went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Wyatt Mills, now 1-1, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 2 and walking 2. With the win, Brooklyn raised its record to 46-37.

Had David Dahl not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Dahl hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Sycamores.

"We found a way to get it done," Dahl said.
