Murder Hornets Stay Hot with Extra-Inning Win
The Albuquerque Isotopes got a superb performance from third baseman Miguel Andujar. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Austin. The Murder Hornets won the game, 10-8. Andujar was 3 for 6 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. Austin reliever Deolis Guerra picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Scott Alexander absorbed the loss. The Murder Hornets, now 44-37, have won 5 in a row.

Austin won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With two outs and Scott Alexander on the mound for Albuquerque, catcher Roberto Perez hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Murder Hornets fans to their feet.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Perez said in his postgame press conference.
