McMahon Slugs Archers to 9-5 Win
|
Baltimore first baseman Ryan McMahon had a 5-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Greensboro Jabberwocks, 9-5. Luis Severino picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 11 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 7-4. Greensboro has now lost 4 consecutive games.
With Baltimore leading 1-0 in the top of the first, McMahon hit a fastball from Vince Velasquez for a grand slam home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Archers ahead, 5-0.
